TrollRate guide: personal player notes

Read player names from a match screenshot, save personal notes and find them before a later game.

TrollRate, also referred to as PlayerMemo, keeps your own notes about people you played with. Notes and ratings are personal observations, not an official reputation score.

Create a first player note

Check the recognized text before saving a record.

  1. Select a match screenshot and read the player names.
  2. Verify that the recognized name matches the player and select them.
  3. Write observed strengths, weaknesses, your rating and a note.

Look up notes later

Search existing records by player name. Similar names and recognition errors are possible, so compare names before assuming a match.

Scope of a personal record

The app is not an official Riot Games service. Do not present personal notes as verified facts or official enforcement information. Avoid storing unrelated personal details such as contact information.

If a name is read incorrectly

Check that names are legible in the original screenshot and correct misread characters before saving. Recheck the name to avoid attaching a note to the wrong player.

Official app previews

These images come from the public App Store listing. Screens can differ by language, device and app version.

Common questions

Is this an official player rating?

No. Ratings and notes are entered by the user for personal use.

Will a blurry screenshot be recognized accurately?

Accuracy is not guaranteed. Review the OCR result before saving.

Does your screen look different?

The app changes over time. Include your app version and the steps you tried when contacting support. Do not send passwords, payment details or API keys.
