Publisher and contact
FolderCam for Android (com.zrindy.subcamera) is provided by Zrindy LLC. Contact dev@zrindy.com with questions about this policy or a data request. Using the camera and local library does not require a FolderCam account.
Your photos and videos
Captured photos, videos, imported copies, folders, photo titles, notes, record dates, chosen places and edits are stored in the app's private storage on your device. FolderCam does not upload this library to a Zrindy server or automatically add new captures to the device gallery. Imports copy only the photos you select; existing gallery originals remain in place.
Sharing and exporting happen when you request them. Copies passed to another app or a file/cloud provider are handled by that destination under its own privacy practices. FolderCam does not receive your cloud credentials or automatically synchronize the library. A provider accepting a file does not guarantee that its remote upload is complete.
The app disables Android cloud backup and automatic device-transfer inclusion for its library. Export important media before uninstalling the app, clearing its data or changing devices. Uninstalling or clearing data can remove the local library. Existing exported copies are separate and are not deleted by FolderCam.
Permissions and document scanning
Camera permission supports capture; microphone permission is requested when you start a video with sound. The system photo picker grants access only to selected imports. Saving a new copy to the gallery uses Android's media service. Location permission is requested only if you enable location stamps. Coordinates are rendered into the photo on the device; if you share that photo, its visible coordinates go with it. Missing location does not prevent a photo from being saved. You can change permissions in Android Settings.
Document scanning uses CameraX and OpenCV on the device. Automatic mode captures a stable document and saves it to the chosen folder; manual mode opens a review before saving. Scan pages and durable unfinished drafts are stored in the app’s private storage.
Search and maps
Photo titles, notes, chosen places and addresses are searched on the device. The most recent eight searches are stored locally and can be cleared from the search screen. Photo search text and results are not sent to analytics. Explicit place/address lookup sends the text you enter to the device’s Android geocoding service. Map views use MapLibre and request map tiles from OpenStreetMap; these requests expose network information such as your IP address and the requested map area to the provider. Photos and annotations are not included in tile requests. Place selection and photo maps do not request the device’s current location. See OpenStreetMap privacy information.
Retention and deletion
Media is kept until you delete it unless you explicitly enable folder auto-delete or set an individual deletion date. Folder period changes apply to new items; disabling folder retention clears folder-inherited deadlines while leaving explicitly chosen item deadlines. Moving media applies the destination's retention policy. Keep cancels deletion schedules. Deleting a folder requires entering the displayed confirmation word and deletes that folder together with its photos and videos. The dialog identifies the folder and item count. Cancelling leaves them unchanged; a changed selection or failed local commit cannot silently delete a different set of items.
Expired items are cleaned up when the app runs its library cleanup. Exact-time deletion while Android has suspended the app is not guaranteed. Schedules remain after Plus expires and can be cancelled with Keep. Deletion removes app originals, not independent gallery, share or cloud copies. There is no in-app recycle bin.
Usage analytics
Usage analytics is on by default for new installations and installations with no saved choice. A previous saved off choice remains off. The Settings analytics switch has been removed. When analytics is enabled and the build has a configured Firebase connection, Google Analytics for Firebase receives usage events, an app-instance identifier and device information. Approximate region may be derived from network information. The app's event payloads use categories, counts and durations; they do not contain your photos, videos, filenames, folder names, photo notes, search terms, precise coordinates or payment card details.
The SDK may also measure app lifecycle and supported Google Play purchase events, including product and transaction information. We do not set your name, email or RevenueCat customer identifier as an analytics user ID.
The app disables Firebase advertising identifier collection and ad-personalization signals. For a preserved off choice, collection remains disabled. Events recorded while collection is disabled are not queued for later transmission. Data already received by Google remains subject to the project's retention settings and applicable provider policies. See Firebase privacy information and Google's privacy policy.
Plus purchases
For Google Play Plus purchases, Google Play processes payments and RevenueCat verifies entitlement and restores purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous customer identifier and purchase information, such as products, transaction identifiers, dates and subscription status. FolderCam does not send its photo library or location stamps to RevenueCat and does not receive payment card information. Subscriptions are managed through the Google Play account; restore remains available from Plus. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
Advertising and support
Advertising is disabled in this Android build, including automatic Mobile Ads initialization. Usage analytics does not authorize advertising. Enabling Android advertising in a future release requires matching public disclosures and the configured regional consent flow before ad requests.
The support screen can open your chosen email app, the contact website or the public Discord support channel, or copy the support address. Email drafts contain editable app/device diagnostics. You choose what to write, attach and send; FolderCam does not automatically attach media or send a support message or diagnostics to Discord. Email and website providers process communications according to their own policies.
Requests and updates
Contact dev@zrindy.com for privacy questions or requests. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers or photos that are unnecessary for your request. Because the local photo library is not stored on a Zrindy server, managing those originals is done on your device. Updated public policies will identify the applicable platform, build behavior and effective date.
For identifiable purchase, analytics or support records, include your platform, app version and requested scope. We may need limited information to locate a record or explain when anonymous records cannot be linked to your request. Provider-held transaction records and legally required retention can limit what can be removed. Uninstalling the app or requesting data deletion does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

촬영한 사진·동영상, 가져온 복사본, 폴더, 사진 제목·메모·기록 날짜·지정 장소와 편집 결과는 기기의 앱 내부 저장소에 보관합니다. FolderCam는 보관함을 Zrindy 서버에 업로드하거나 새 촬영물을 기기 사진첩에 자동 추가하지 않습니다. 가져오기는 사용자가 선택한 사진의 복사본만 만들고 기존 사진첩 원본은 유지합니다.
공유와 내보내기는 사용자가 요청할 때만 진행합니다. 다른 앱이나 파일·클라우드 제공자에게 전달된 복사본은 해당 서비스의 정책에 따릅니다. FolderCam는 클라우드 계정 인증 정보를 받거나 보관함을 자동 동기화하지 않습니다. 파일 전달이 완료되어도 제공자의 원격 업로드 완료를 의미하지는 않습니다.
앱은 Android 클라우드 백업과 자동 기기 이전 대상에서 보관함을 제외하도록 설정합니다. 앱 삭제, 앱 데이터 초기화 또는 기기 교체 전에 중요한 미디어를 내보내세요. 삭제·초기화하면 앱 내부 보관함이 사라질 수 있습니다. 이미 내보낸 복사본은 별개로 남습니다.
권한과 문서 스캔
카메라 권한은 촬영에 사용하며, 마이크 권한은 소리가 있는 동영상을 시작할 때 요청합니다. 시스템 사진 선택기에서는 사용자가 선택한 항목만 가져옵니다. 사진첩 저장은 Android 미디어 기능으로 새 복사본을 만듭니다. 위치 스탬프를 켤 때만 위치 권한을 요청하고, 기기에서 좌표를 사진에 표시합니다. 그 사진을 공유하면 보이는 좌표도 함께 전달됩니다. 위치를 얻지 못해도 사진은 저장할 수 있습니다. 권한은 Android 설정에서 변경할 수 있습니다.
문서 스캔은 기기 내부에서 CameraX와 OpenCV로 처리합니다. 자동 모드는 안정적으로 인식한 문서를 촬영해 선택한 폴더에 저장하고, 수동 모드는 검토 후 저장합니다. 스캔 페이지와 미완료 초안은 앱 내부 저장소에 보관합니다.
검색과 지도
사진 제목·메모·지정 장소·주소 검색은 기기 내부에서 처리합니다. 최근 검색 8개를 기기에 저장하며 검색 화면에서 지울 수 있습니다. 사진 검색어와 결과는 이용 분석에 전송하지 않습니다. 장소·주소 검색을 직접 사용하면 입력한 문구를 Android 위치 검색 서비스로 보냅니다. 지도는 MapLibre를 사용하며 OpenStreetMap에 지도 타일을 요청합니다. 이 과정에서 IP 주소 같은 네트워크 정보와 요청한 지도 영역이 제공자에게 전달됩니다. 지도 요청에는 사진이나 메모를 포함하지 않습니다. 장소 선택과 사진 지도는 기기의 현재 위치 권한을 요청하지 않습니다. 보관 기간과 삭제
폴더 자동 삭제나 개별 삭제 일정을 직접 설정하지 않으면 사용자가 삭제할 때까지 미디어를 보관합니다. 폴더 기간 변경은 새 항목에 적용됩니다. 폴더 자동 삭제를 끄면 폴더에서 상속된 기한이 해제되며, 사용자가 항목별로 지정한 기한은 남습니다. 이동하면 도착 폴더의 정책을 적용하고, ‘계속 보관’은 삭제 일정을 취소합니다. 폴더 삭제 시 표시된 확인 문구를 입력해야 하며 해당 폴더와 안의 사진·동영상이 함께 삭제됩니다. 확인 화면에서 폴더와 항목 수를 표시합니다. 취소하면 그대로 유지하고, 확인 중 대상이 바뀌거나 저장에 실패하면 다른 항목이 임의로 삭제되지 않도록 보호합니다.
기한이 지난 항목은 앱이 정리 작업을 실행할 때 삭제합니다. Android가 앱을 중단한 동안 정확한 시각에 삭제되는 것은 보장하지 않습니다. Plus가 만료되어도 일정은 유지되며 ‘계속 보관’으로 취소할 수 있습니다. 삭제는 앱 내부 원본에 적용되고 사진첩·공유·클라우드의 별도 복사본에는 적용되지 않습니다. 앱 내 휴지통은 없습니다.
이용 분석
이용 분석은 새 설치와 저장된 선택이 없는 설치에서 기본적으로 켜져 있습니다. 이전에 꺼둔 기록은 유지하며 설정의 이용 분석 스위치는 제거했습니다. 분석이 켜져 있고 Firebase 연결이 설정된 빌드에서는 Google Analytics for Firebase에 이용 이벤트, 앱 인스턴스 식별자와 기기 정보가 전달됩니다. 네트워크 정보로 대략적인 지역이 산출될 수 있습니다. 앱이 보내는 이벤트에는 유형·개수·소요 시간이 포함되며 사진, 동영상, 파일명, 폴더명, 사진 메모, 검색어, 정밀 좌표와 카드 정보는 포함하지 않습니다.
SDK는 앱 실행 상태와 지원되는 Google Play 구매 이벤트의 상품·거래 정보도 측정할 수 있습니다. 이름, 이메일이나 RevenueCat 고객 식별자를 분석 사용자 ID로 설정하지 않습니다. Firebase의 광고 식별자 수집과 광고 개인 최적화 신호는 비활성화합니다.
이전에 꺼둔 선택이 있으면 분석 수집을 계속 차단합니다. 분석이 꺼져 있는 동안의 행동을 나중에 전송하기 위해 저장하지 않습니다. 이미 Google에 도착한 데이터는 프로젝트 보관 설정과 제공자의 정책에 따르며, 앱 삭제만으로 제공자에게 전달된 기록이 삭제되지는 않습니다. Firebase 개인정보 안내와 Google 개인정보처리방침을 참고해 주세요.
Plus 구매
Google Play Plus 구매는 Google Play가 결제를 처리하고 RevenueCat이 권한 검증과 구매 복원을 지원합니다. RevenueCat에는 익명 고객 식별자, 상품, 거래 식별자, 일시, 구독 상태 같은 구매 정보가 전달됩니다. 보관함과 위치 스탬프는 RevenueCat에 보내지 않으며, FolderCam는 카드 정보를 받지 않습니다. 구독은 구매한 Google Play 계정에서 관리하고 Plus 화면에서 복원을 요청할 수 있습니다. 광고와 문의
이 Android 빌드에서는 광고와 Mobile Ads 자동 초기화가 비활성화되어 있습니다. 이용 분석이 광고 동의를 의미하지 않습니다. 이후 광고를 활성화하는 릴리스에서는 실제 동작에 맞는 공개 안내와 지역별 동의 흐름이 먼저 준비되어야 합니다.
문의 화면에서는 이메일 앱·연락처 웹페이지·공개 Discord 지원 채널을 열거나 지원 이메일 주소를 복사할 수 있습니다. 메일 초안에는 사용자가 수정·삭제할 수 있는 앱·기기 진단 정보가 들어갑니다. 작성·첨부·발송은 사용자가 선택하며 앱이 미디어를 자동 첨부하거나 문의·진단 정보를 Discord에 자동 전송하지 않습니다. 이메일 및 웹 제공자의 처리는 해당 제공자의 정책에 따릅니다.
요청과 변경
요청 시 Android 앱인지, 앱 버전과 삭제를 원하는 범위를 알려 주세요. 비밀번호, 카드번호나 문의에 불필요한 사진은 보내지 마세요. 기기 내 원본은 Zrindy 서버에 없으므로 사용자의 기기에서 관리해야 합니다.
식별 가능한 구매·분석·문의 기록을 찾기 위해 최소한의 추가 확인 정보가 필요하거나 익명 기록을 특정할 수 없음을 안내할 수 있습니다. 외부 제공자가 보관하는 거래 기록이나 법정 보관 의무에 따라 삭제 범위가 제한될 수 있습니다. 앱 삭제나 개인정보 삭제 요청은 Google Play 구독 취소가 아닙니다. 공개 방침이 갱신되면 적용 플랫폼, 동작과 시행일을 명시합니다.
